Richard Breitling has had a wide-ranging career that includes several hitches in the U.S. Coast Guard, work in local casinos, cooking, construction,and warehousing. All this culminated in his graduation from the University of Nevada, Reno with a degree in anthropology in 2000. Richard began his career as an archaeological field technician. Richard was promoted to the position of Field Supervisor. He is fully permitted by both state and federal authorities to conduct prehistoric and historic archaeological field work in the western and central Great Basin and eastern California. Richard has acquired extensive experience with the recordation and evaluation of historic ranch complexes and historic mines, as well as a variety of prehistoric site types including specialized extractive locations, petroglyphs, and quarries.
